Endowments

YMCA Endowment

An endowment to the YMCA ensures our capacity to strengthen the very foundations of this community for years and generations to come. Regardless of the programs in the future, we will be there to meet the need through our commitment to always nurture the potential of youth and teens, to help improve our community’s health and well-being, and to support and give back to our neighbors.

Tax savings and other benefits may be available through a variety of current and deferred endowment plans, and future commitments may be directed to specific programs, locations, or to the Y’s work across the community.

Some have chosen to support the YMCA through:

  • an outright gift
  • naming YMCA of the Inland Northwest as beneficiary of insurance or retirement funds
  • a bequest in one’s will
  • a memorial gift. We would be honored to accept your future commitment to the YMCA.

YMCA Camp Reed Endowment Fund

What is it you remember most about YMCA Camp Reed? Was it sharing during Sticks Ceremony around the campfire at the end of the week, Critter Talk, Chapel or fun with campers and staff? We know Camp Reed has touched many lives and it is a unique experience that has a lasting impact. Now you have the opportunity to pass on these positive encounters for many more campers in the years ahead.

Our goal is to ensure the future of Camp Reed by building a designated endowment fund to support the powerful work of camp. As a beneficiary of the Camp Reed experience, you are uniquely qualified to recognize the potential that camp can offer to many in the years to come. Your support strengthens the foundation of Camp Reed by building long-range financial stability and ensuring that countless children can just be kids for a life-changing week at camp.

Contributions can be made in two ways: a gift today, or a future gift or both will be placed in the Camp Reed Endowment. Your endowment gift provides lasting resources by preserving the original gift intact and using the interest gained each year for either camperships or infrastructure improvements.
