Whitworth University and Gonzaga University

The YMCA of the Inland Northwest is proud to host the Act Six Leadership and Scholarship initiative collaboration with Whitworth University, Gonzaga University and Degrees of Change, Act Six brings together diverse, multicultural cadres of young people who want to use their college education to make a difference on campus and in their communities at home.  

What is Act Six? PSA

Full-Tuition, Full-Need Scholarship to Whitworth or Gonzaga:

  • Leadership, diversity, financial training in the year prior to college, equipping scholars to support each other, succeed academically, and grow as service-minded leaders;
  • Strong campus support, ongoing leadership development, vocational connections to inspire scholars to serve their home communities.

Program Updates

Act Six has been an initiative of the YMCA of the Inland Northwest since 2013 as a Teen Program. The Program Supervisor is Francisca Chau. Originally from Spokane, Francisca Chau is a graduate of Gonzaga Prep and an Act Six alum from the third cadre at Gonzaga University.
