Refund Policy: Refunds will be granted less a $10 administrative fee for requests made before teams begin practicing or football equipment issue takes place. A 50% refund will be granted prior to the first game. Once games begin, no refunds will be granted.

 

Financial Assistance is available.  Financial Assistance takes 5-10 business days to process. Participants will not be placed, able to participate or register for the league until the financial assistance has been processed.  To apply please contact our business office or stop by our Corporate Offices at 1126 N Monroe.


 

Summer Football - 7 on 7 Passing League



Grade 5 - 8

 

Give kids a chance to improve their teamwork before the fall season.  Team parent or coach is required for grades 5-8.  Teams are formed by grade and school. 

Registration:  Begins April 1

Coaches Meeting:  N/A (short meeting before the first game)

Game Days:  Tuesday & Wednesday (4pm to 8pm)

League Dates:  June 27 - July 26 (No games week of July 3 - 7)

Game Fields: TBD

Practice Starts:  Week of June 12

Program Cost:  Y Member: $30 Program Member $ 60

Program Details:  up to 3 games per night, No T-Shirts, Refs. provided, equipment provided (game day), Max players on a team will be 14

Spokane Empire & YMCA Football Mini Camp

Grades 3-8

Team up this summer for skills, drills and practice with the Spokane Empire playersand coaches. Work with Spokane Empire quarterbacks, receivers, and kickers on fundamental plays and routes, as well as conditioning and fundamentals with Spokane Empire players.

Summer Football - West Valley Skills Camp

Full Contact West Valley YMCA Grid Kids Football Camp Grades 3-8. For boys and girls, this full contact camp will get them ready for the upcoming Grid Kids Football season and freshmen
football. Join the West Valley coaching staff and players to sharpen skills. Players will be fitted with helmet and shoulder pads on the first day of camp.

League Information:


Grades 1-6. If your child is not quite ready for tackle, flag football is a great option that builds teamwork and skills. In this league, kids have the opportunity to experience football in a less physical environment but still acquire the same fundamentals of the sport. Practices are up to two times a week with games on Saturdays ending with a one-week tournament for grades 5 – 6.

Fall Football - YMCA Grid Kids 3 - 4

League Information:

The YMCA Fall Grid Kids Tackle Football program focuses on building skills, sportmanship, defining teamwork and developing youth. Your boys and girls will have the opportunity to play up to half the game while being provided a safe place to learn, grow and thrive.
League play consist of 6 games. Games are played primarily on Saturdays with a Tuesday night game thrown in. 
Our program is for boys and girls, organized by your child's grade and High School boundary. Teams practice three times a week at local schools or parks.

Volunteer Coaches Needed!!

Sportsmanship Award:
Nominate a member of your team for the new sportsmanship award.  Each week we will post the sportsman on the week on the Y Facebook page.   At the end of the season we will choose a Divisional Sportsmanship Award Winner.  Awards are given out by division.
Nominations will be entered by Refs, coaches and Y Staff with a brief descrition of the sportsmanship displayed by the nominees.

Guaranteed & Non-Guaranteed  The Y will continue to accept registrations until participants can no longer be placed on teams.  To register you will need to call Patrick Bryant for team availability.
If a team has available space you will then be transferred to our CIC department for registration. 
Please give the coach 3 business days to reach out about information regarding your team after registration.
