Act Six Program Supervisor- Corporate
The Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative is a Christian leadership development and college access and retention initiative that recruits, trains and provides strong campus support to diverse, multicultural cadres of promising urban student leaders. The primary responsibility of the Act Six Program Supervisor will be to lead the recruitment, selection, training and ongoing community support components of the Spokane Act Six site in close collaboration with the Act Six Washington staff team and partner universities, Gonzaga and Whitworth. Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience in a related field. Must relate well and work effectively with diverse groups of urban youth and adults, and be proficient in basic computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Wage DOE. Custodians- Central & North
We are seeking enthusiastic, hard working team members to assist with the cleaning of the facility. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in custodial work. $9.19/hr. Family Activity Center Leaders- North
The North Y is seeking staff to provide programming for the family activity center. The Activity Leader is responsible for the general supervision of parties, groups, and events along with programming and monitoring the activities in the Family Activity Center (FAC) at the YMCA. They will provide support to these programs and areas by monitoring interaction between the guests and the YMCA departments and staff, coordination and leading of activities and games, and working to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. Group Exercise Instructors- All facilities
The Health and Wellness Department is looking for Specialized Instructors to teach group exercise classes. The instructors provide specialized services to members such as Group Fitness (Cardio, Circuit Training, Step, Body Conditioning, TRX), Senior (Silver Sneakers, Active Older Adults, Modified Cardiac), Yoga, Cycling, Pilates, PiYo, Martial Arts, and Dance (Hip Hop, Zumba, Belly Dance). Prefer applicants who can lead multiple class formats. Strong leadership and motivational skills are needed for this position. Part time position with variable hours. Must have National Group Exercise Certificate or equivalency with a minimum of 6 months experience. Wages DOE. Weekend, Early Morning and Evening availability preferred. Human Resources Assistant- Corporate
The Human Resources/Payroll office is seeking a new team member to help meet the goals of supporting staff, assisting supervisors and furthering the mission at our Y. Primary responsibilities include administration of the hiring process for all staff in conjunction with supervisors, advising supervisors and staff on HR policies and assisting the HR Director and Payroll Administrator with administrative duties. Organization and data entry skills are a must, along with proven familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems. The position requires a high level of confidentiality and tact, as well as the ability to stay focused in a busy office environment. Applicants should demonstrate 2+ years of related experience. Knowledge of HR laws is preferred, but may be substituted with experience in interpreting laws and policies. $9.65-11.58/hr. Maintenance Worker- Camp Reed
Camp Reed is seeking a hard working and skilled maintenance worker to help the Facilities Director keep the camp safe and operational. Indoor and outdoor work, year-round. Must have experience in maintenance, and have an acceptable driving record. $10+/hr DOE. Part time, must be available weekends. Office Administrator- North
The Office Administrator will provide secretarial support for administrative and program staff. Minimum qualifications include; two years of college or equivalent and 1-3 years of office experience. Accuracy and attention to detail in both word processing and data entry required (Intermediate MS Office Knowledge Required) . Must be comfortable with cash handling and must show ability to organize and prioritize the workload. Good verbal & written communication. Must exhibit friendliness and an eagerness to help members and the public while maintaining good working relationship with all YMCA staff. M-F, 5 hrs a day. $9.19-11.03/hr DOE. Tumbling Instructors- Valley
The Health & Wellness Department is seeking instructors for Tumbling programs at the Valley Y. Applicants must have the ability to teach skills to children of various ages. Gymnastics, dance or movement background preferred. $10/hr. Part time, classes will be Tuesday 10-12 and 4-7:30. Free membership is provided for staff. Youth Leaders- Sandpoint
We are seeking Youth Leaders to work with children at summer programs in Sandpoint. Must enjoy working with kids, be dependable, and able to organize & lead activities. Minimum 18 yrs old w/High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children preferred.
